Leave an
   instrument to
the foundation

Do you own a musical instrument and do you want this instrument to continue to be played by passionate musicians even after your passing? Then you can leave your instrument to The Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation.

Part of our collection

The Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation sets high quality standards for its instruments. The type and quality of the instrument must be suitable for inclusion in our collection. If that is not the case, we will sell your instrument and use the proceeds to support the musicians in another way. If you are considering leaving your instrument to The Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation and you want to exclude the foundation from selling your instrument, you can always contact us first to find out whether or not your instrument fits into our collection.

Leaving a grand piano

In the case of grand pianos, there is often expensive overdue maintenance or repairs. This means that such an instrument must sometimes be rejected, despite the fact that the grand piano can be very suitable to use. But the costs of restoration cannot always be borne by The Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation. The fund would therefore greatly appreciate it if an amount was left behind for the restoration of the grand piano. This prevents us from having to give up such a beautiful legacy or inheritance.
