Steunfonds
In 2018, Marcel Schopman, then director of the foundation, established the Steunfonds (Support Fund). This fund specifically assists musicians who are temporarily unable to cover their instrument's usage fee due to unforeseen circumstances. This support is made possible thanks to the dedicated private donors who stand behind our musicians.
About our Steunfonds if things get tough
If special circumstances prevent you from paying your usage fee, you may be eligible for temporary support from our Steunfonds. This initiative ensures you can continue playing your instrument while working towards a financial solution.
The Steunfonds provides short-term assistance. It is intended to give you the breathing space needed to regain your financial independence and resume your own payments.
This support is made possible by the generosity of private donors. Each year in September, we review all applications. Please note that granting support depends on the available funds and the number of requests received.
Please submit your application no later than 1 September.
