Do you, as a musician, need assistance with scholarships, financing, grants, and other funding applications? Here's an overview of collaborating organizations that may be able to help.

  • Our Steunfonds
    Intended for musicians who have one of our instruments on loan. If, due to special circumstances, you are temporarily unable to pay the usage fee, you may be eligible for a contribution from our Steunfonds, allowing you to continue playing your instrument.

  • Boekmanstichting
    Knowledge center for arts, culture, and policy. The foundation supports policymakers, administrators, researchers, and professionals in the cultural sector with information and knowledge. They share research, have a library with a study room, and organize lectures and debates.

  • Het Cultuurfonds
    This foundation supports projects related to culture, nature and science. The foundation provides financial contributions or grants for events or training courses.

  • NL Talentenfonds
    An independent foundation for young talent, active in sports, culture, and education. The organisation provides fast, targeted financial support to top talents between the ages of 15 and 30, enabling them to take essential steps in their development.

  • Schuurman Schimmel Van Outeren Stichting
    This foundation provides grants in the form of a gift, an interest-free loan or a combination of these to students who are pursuing a study in the Netherlands or an internship or master's degree abroad, but who are facing financial difficulties.

  • Stichting Cultuur+Ondernemen
    Cultuur+Ondernemen is the knowledge center for entrepreneurship in the cultural sector. The Cultuur+Financiering Fund Foundation provides loans and more to artists, creatives, and cultural organizations.

  • Stichting Eigen Muziekinstrument
    The foundation can donate up to €5,000 to musicians or music students between the ages of 17 and 30 for the purchase of a musical instrument. Furthermore, musicians from the Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation are able to apply for the SEM Academy early (priority enrollment). This is a professional development program for graduate musicians up to the age of 35.

  • VandenEnde Foundation
    This foundation provides scholarships to young talent. They also supports institutions and initiatives that provide a platform for young talent and help them develop further.

  • VSBFonds
    They provide funding for a cultural or social project. An application for a financial contribution must meet certain conditions.

  • Voordekunst
    Crowdfunding for those active in the creative sector. Start your own crowdfunding project here to raise money for your cause.

  • Travelling with bows made of Pernambuco (in Dutch)
    The RvO publishes information on its website regarding travelling with bows made of pernambuco wood. For non-commercial trips outside the EU (such as a performance), no CITES documents are required. However, rules do apply to the purchase or sale of bows, which you can consult on this site.
