Hi there! I’m Enrique and I come from a town in Andalucía, in the south of Spain. Since 2021 I’ve been studying classical piano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, under the guidance of David Kuyken. Currently, I am pursuing my Master studies, which I started in September 2025.
Although coming from a classical background and still studying at this field, I truly believe that, as musicians and artists, we should have as little boundaries as possible. Therefore, since my Bachelor years I’ve been trying to develop a musicianship that integrates many styles and settings. Apart from my activity as solo, chamber and orchestral pianist, I am also getting formation in jazz piano and singing, as well as experience as a composer, arranger, improviser, and performer of others styles like flamenco or Latin.
No matter in which of these settings I play, the piano is always going to be there, as a place from where I can express myself and bring enriching messages to our audiences. And after some years in the Netherlands, I am now enormously lucky to get to play such a magnificent Steinway from Het Muziekinstrumentenfonds. Expanding one’s music is so easy and exciting when you have an instrument with such possibilities. Looking forward to keep exploring!
