Jean Jacques Millant
built in Paris in ± 1970
A violin bow, made by Jean Jacques Millant in Paris, ca. 1970. Round shaft, silver mount, and ebony frog.
History of this instrument
In 2004, the Musical Instrument Fund received a violin and three bows on loan from a private collector. Yente Lottman played the bow for quite some time; currently, the Parisian bow is in the possession of Emil Giacometti.
