History of this instrument
In 2024, the Musical Instrument Fund received this Steinway & Sons piano as a gift from the Cultural Fund. The grand piano had belonged to an aunt of one of the fund’s employees. To honor her, a plaque has been affixed to the piano that reads: “In loving memory of Gerda van Luttervelt-Stuart.” Indira Nezami is the first lucky player of the Hamburg grand piano.
