Guitarist Matthijs van Delft (15 years old) won in the first category! He is the brother of violinist Adinda van Delft, who plays a violin from the Musical Instrument Fund. Together, they have performed for the fund many times, and hopefully they’ll continue to do so in the coming year.

Elin Haver

In the second category, violist Elin Haver (17 years old) received an honorable mention! In addition, she received the audience award in her category with no fewer than 377 votes. She plays a 1998 Matthieu Besseling viola and has a 1996 Jan Strumphler bow on loan.

Cellist Joshua Herwig, performing with the Kandinsky Quartet, received an honorable mention in the third category. They also took second place in the audience choice award with 260 votes. Joshua plays a 2012 Koen Padding cello from the collection of Het Muziekinstrumentenfonds.
