Tine Van Parys

cello

Since May 2022, I’ve had the privilege of playing this magnificent Rombouts cello from 1699! With its resonant bass tones and clear high notes, this cello brings me joy every day. And I truly hope to share that joy with the audience during our concerts.

Its warm tone blends incredibly beautifully with the other Rombouts violins and violas played by my colleagues in the Penta Quintet. There, we perform according to historical performance practice.

I’m also the principal cellist in the Anima Eterna Brugge orchestra. As a freelance musician, I’m active in other ensembles and orchestras as well.

With its resonant bass tones and clear high notes, this cello lets me enjoy my wonderful job every day. But the most important thing is that the audience can share in the joy during concerts, feeling both amazed and moved.
