Concert Violinist and Chamber Musician
My love for violin started at the age of four in the city of Patras, Greece. I had the honor to start violin lessons at a very young age and a few years later, I performed my debut solo concert at the age of 11 under the baton of Saulius Sondeckis with the Soloists of Patras. I followed several masterclasses with world-renowned violinists including prof. S. Kravchenko and Z. Bron. I graduated from the Conservatory of Patras in 2008 with excellent from the class of O. Milkova.
In 2005, I relocated to Athens where I studied in the class of N. Patrikidou, and later on, in 2010, I moved to the Netherlands where I earned the Bachelor of Music from Codarts, University of Arts, in the class of Natalija Morozova.
At the beginning of 2020, I graduated with excellence from Codarts, University of Arts, earning the Master of Music in the class of my mentors prof. Igor and Vesna Gruppman. At the same time, I also graduated with the Masters of Arts, Culture and Society from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
Since 2002 I have been working in the industry as a concert violinist and chamber musician. I performed with many orchestras, including the Metropole Orchestra of the Netherlands, the Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, the Athens Symphony Orchestra, and the Soloists of Patras. My repertoire encompasses great classics and innovative works as well as crossovers. I have appeared in the Carnegie Hall, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, de Doelen in Rotterdam, Megaron Mousikis in Athens, Sala Covarrubias in the National Theater of Cuba, and several other concert halls. Among different festivals, I performed in the International Festival of Patras, Greece, and the Jazz Plaza Festival in Havana, Cuba.
I am currently playing on a 19th-century violin labeled as Jo. Baptista Ceruti provided by The Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation. Playing such an instrument is always an adventure! Its personality makes it an alive companion to all my endeavors. I am greatly thankful to the Foundation for providing the possibility to so many musicians to experience unique instruments. I am looking forward to the years that will come together with this violin!
