History of this instrument
In 1996, the Musical Instrument Fund commissioned Jaap Bolink to build this violin. The VSB Fund financed this project. Frances Thé was the first to play this Hilversum violin. Leonie Bot succeeded her. Canan Cihangir played the instrument for quite some time. Emma van der Schalie, Matthijs Berger, and Janneke Stoute have also played the violin. Hrayr Yervand is currently the proud owner.
