History of this instrument

It was still just a dream for Remy van Kesteren when he approached the Musical Instrument Foundation in 2014 in his search for a harp with more possibilities. In 2015, an intensive process began in which Remy, together with Frits Schutte of the Musical Instrument Foundation and the innovation team at harp manufacturer Salvi, worked toward what would ultimately become an instrument with literally unprecedented possibilities. The combination of high-quality software, the latest construction techniques, Remy van Kesteren’s boundless artistic drive, and the constant involvement of the Foundation were the ingredients for this innovative step in the history of harp-making. The Foundation was able to purchase this harp thanks to donations from a number of deeply committed donors. We owe these donors a debt of gratitude.
