History of this instrument
In 2004, the Jaap Bolink Musical Instrument Fund commissioned the construction of this cello. The VSB Fund made the purchase possible. Maartje-Maria den Herder was the first to play it; for quite some time now, Arno van der Vuurst has been the cellist playing this instrument from Hilversum.
