Daniel Rowland
from Nicolas Auguste Eugène Maline

Live from the office—or on location—and while maintaining a safe distance, you can hear the sounds of top musicians and their unique instruments. The instruments from the Musical Instrument Fund and their performers are happy to share their music now that concerts are on hold for the time being. Tune in and enjoy the music, the story behind the instrument, and the musicians.
During the COVID-19 crisis in the spring of 2020, it was virtually impossible for many people to enjoy music outside their homes. That’s why the Musical Instrument Fund launched a series of concerts that were streamed live so that donors and other interested parties could still listen to live music. In this series of videos, you can watch these livestreamed concerts and enjoy a selection of talented musicians all over again. We hope you enjoy watching and listening!
Daniel graduated from the conservatories in Amsterdam and Brussels. He has also won a number of international prizes, including the Brahms Prize from the Brahms Gesellschaft Baden-Baden and the Oskar Back Dutch Violin Competition. Daniel is now active as a soloist, chamber musician, and concertmaster. The Musical Instrument Fund has loaned Daniel a bow made by Nicolas Auguste Maline (Paris, ca. 1895).
