Anniversary Concert

The Delden Klassiek Foundation celebrated its 50th anniversary with a festive concert. Violinist Daniel Rowland, cellist Maja Bogdanović, and pianist Nino Gvetadze performed at the Oude Blasiuskerk in Delden. They treated the audience to Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 1, “Castillo Interior” by Pēteris Vasks, and Tchaikovsky’s Piano Trio.

€10,000 for the Musical Instrument Fund

Chairman Peter Scheerder (see photo) explained that a donation to the fund as an anniversary gift was an obvious choice. Many musicians with instruments from the fund have performed on the Delden stage in recent years. They often started out as young talents and returned years later as internationally established musicians. The Musical Instrument Fund gratefully accepted the donation and will use the money to purchase a bow, which will be named “Delden Klassiek.”
