I’m American, and I came to the Netherlands in 2008 to become the first violinist of the Rubens Quartet. About two weeks after I moved to the Netherlands, I had an appointment with Frits from the Musical Instrument Fund to see if they might have an instrument I could borrow. I had no idea that a beautiful Rogeri violin was already waiting for me to try out! From the very first stroke of the bow, I was hooked, and since then I’ve been performing regularly both at home and abroad with the Rogeri.
In 2025, I celebrated my 40th year as a violinist with the release of brand-new live video recordings of all six of Bach’s solo works on my YouTube channel.
