Marthe van Wonderen

Hi! My name is Marthe van Wonderen, and I was born in 2006. I’m so grateful to be able to play this beautiful violin built by Paul Max Möller. 

I’ve been enjoying playing the violin since I was six. I started studying with Johannes Lievaart using the Suzuki method.  When I was eleven, I was admitted to the Sweelinck Academy at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. There, I studied with Coosje Wijzenbeek, with whom I also played in the ensemble “Fancy Fiddlers.” At the end of 2019, I switched to studying with Emma Breedveld. Starting in September 2022, I will be studying with Sarah Kapustin. 

The Möller violin has a bright tone and offers me many technical and musical possibilities.
