Lottie Bezemer
violin
My name is Lottie, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to play this beautiful violin from the Musical Instrument Fund.
Lottie (born in 2003) is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at the Utrecht Conservatory under the guidance of violinist Carla Leurs. Prior to that, she was a student in the Young Talent Class at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Veselina Manikova’s violin class and took lessons from Vera Beths at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
She has won prizes at competitions including the Princess Christina Competition and the “Stars of the Olympus” Competition in Russia. In addition, she has taken masterclasses with various violinists, including Stephen Picard, Christian Alterberger, Robert Chen, Daniel Rowland, Rosanne Phillipens, Jacobien Rozemond, Moshe Hammer, Eva Stegeman, and Terence Tam.
Lottie has participated in various festivals, including the Aspen Music Festival, Verão Clássico, the Stift Festival, the Aurora Festival, and the PRISMA Festival. In addition to solo and orchestral performances, Lottie also enjoys playing in smaller ensembles.
