I began my musical training at the age of six with Carmen Agúndez at the Hermanos Berzosa Official Conservatory in Cáceres. It was there that my interest in music grew and I developed the love for it that I still have today. Later, I continued my advanced music studies in Porto, Portugal, under the guidance of Professor Jed Barahal. There, I gained extensive performance experience by collaborating with orchestras and ensembles such as OJEx, NphM, and the Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música.
In 2018, I was admitted to the master’s program at Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam, where I studied with Jeroen den Herder, Herre Jan Stegenga, and Job ter Haar. There, I deepened my knowledge of historically informed performance practices. During my master’s program, I had the opportunity to perform at various events and festivals, including the Zutphen Cello Festival (Netherlands), the PRISMA Festival (Canada), and the PortoCello Festival (Portugal).
Since 2019, I have been a member of Duo Lusitano, where I explore the repertoire for cello and basso continuo, as well as the performance of the continuo part on the cello. In 2023, I joined the Tacora Ensemble, based in Rotterdam, which has further broadened my artistic horizons. In 2025, I participated in the recording of the album “Scenes of a Folk Life” by the Agathe Ensemble.
