Hinse began playing the double bass at a young age in Eindhoven under Ruud van der Meulen, followed by lessons with Jasper Somsen. He studied at the Rotterdam Conservatory (Codarts) under Peter Leerdam. Since early 2011, he has been on loan an instrument from the Musical Instrument Fund, for which he is very grateful.
Hinse has performed with many orchestras, including the Marine Band, the Metropole Orchestra, LUDWIG, and the Zeeuws Orchestra.
In addition, Hinse has performed with artists such as Wende Snijders and Herman van Veen. He has a strong affinity for contemporary music and has performed in countless world premieres.
In addition to playing in orchestras, he is passionate about teaching and chamber music, and is active as a bass guitarist, composer, and organizer, among other roles. At https://www.youtube.com/@HinseMutter, you can find several audio clips of his compositions, arrangements, and improvisations.
