Constantijn Bolscher

violin bow

The young violinist Constantijn Bolscher studied classical violin with Peter Brunt and Mireille van der Wart at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. He received guest lessons from Stephan Picard. He is currently a member of the Ars Musica Orchestra, conducted by Patrick van der Linden, and the Ebony Ensemble, conducted by Michel Havenith. As a student, Constantijn played with the Netherlands Youth Orchestra (JON) and the National Youth Orchestra (NJO), and served as concertmaster for the Netherlands Symphony Project. In addition to his work as a violinist, Constantijn is involved in the academic world, studying law and history.

Hi! My name is Constantijn Bolscher, and I’m a violinist. Since late February 2017, I’ve had the privilege of borrowing a beautiful bow from the Musical Instrument Fund. For me, this has truly meant a huge step forward. So many more possibilities, so much more tone and depth. I hope I can continue to use this bow for a very long time!
