My name is Annefloor Plantinga. I am a violinist living in the far north: Groningen. Over the past few years, I have greatly enjoyed studying with Ilona Sie Dhian Ho and Chris Duindam at the Prince Claus Conservatory. I earned my master’s degree there in June 2023.
I am currently working as a substitute musician with various professional orchestras in the Netherlands. I also teach violin at the music school in Groningen and lead educational projects at asylum seeker centers in the north.
In 2013, the Musical Instrument Fund provided me with a Jaap Timmer violin, which I have been enjoying playing ever since.
