Spanish pianist living in Amsterdam and borrowing a piano from Het Muziekinstrumentenfonds since 2024.
I am a pianist and composer from Madrid, Spain and I live in the Netherlands since 2014. I finished a Master in Jazz Piano at Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2020.
My main projects are: Adrián Moncada 6tet, with which I released my debut album in March 2021; the piano trio Garden Crack with which we released our second album "Lapis Lazuli" featuring Michael Moore; and the folkloric reinventions of the duo "Rebolada", together with singer Irene Sorozábal. These bands serve as a laboratory for my own ideas and compositions.
In addition to my own projects, I am a sought after piano player as a sideman in some of the upcoming young bands in the Netherlands, such as: Federico Calcagno Octet, Marmoucha Orchestra, Siebren Smink's "Areia" and Maripepa Contreras Group.
I am grateful to be playing a grand piano from the Het Muziekinstrumentenfonds since January 2024. This beautiful warm and round sounding Bechstein instrument allows me to keep developing my skills as a musician and to stay inspired on a daily basis.
