In 1993, with the help of the VSBfonds Foundation, this Jaap Timmer violin was purchased directly from the luthier himself. Irene de Boer was the first to play the violin, and she continued to do so until 2010. Jelte van Putten was the next player, and Shauntell Baumgard currently has the violin in her care.
