History of this instrument
In 2016, the Musical Instrument Fund received this anonymous French bow and a Pollastri violin from the estate of violinist Bert Harms, who played with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra for many years. His daughter and son-in-law are still involved with the foundation and get to hear the violin and bow from time to time. Justinas Kaunas was the first to play the bow, followed by Ernst Jan Vos. Currently, the French bow is in the hands of Dasha Serck.
