History of this instrument
The Muziekinstrumentenfonds received this 1907 Steinway & Sons grand piano from an estate in 2016. The case features beautiful rosewood veneer, and the hammer heads and ivory keys are still the originals. Olga Pashchenko is currently the pianist playing this Hamburg grand piano.
In 2017, we wrote an article about “the restoration” of this historic instrument.
