History of this instrument
In 2002, the Musical Instrument Fund, with the support of a private donation, purchased this Kawai grand piano from a dealer. Hannes Minnaar was the first borrower and played the grand piano for two years. He was then succeeded by Alexander Buskermolen, who studied on this grand piano from Kakegawa for no less than 13 years. Since 2020, Joël Hillebrandt has been the lucky player.
