The Support Fund
was
established

The Musical Instrument Fund now has a Support Fund. This fund, established by former director Marcel Schopman on the occasion of his retirement, offers musicians assistance with the loan fee—if their financial situation requires it.

The instrument loan fee is an annual fee that musicians pay to borrow an instrument. It is currently €516 per year for students and €666 for professional musicians.

Through the Support Fund, the Musical Instrument Fund also aims to provide young talents, conservatory students, and professionals who, due to circumstances, have less disposable income than their fellow musicians with a suitable, high-quality musical instrument on loan. This ensures that they, too, can develop to their full potential in their careers.
