Simon Reinink
appointed
as a board member
Last week, the board of the Musical Instrument Fund appointed Mr. Simon Reinink as a new board member. Simon Reinink is the executive director of the Concertgebouw. He replaces Ing. A. van de Beek, who has stepped down; among other roles, he is a former chair of the VSB Fund.
Simon Reinink (1966) studied law in Utrecht. He began his career as an attorney at De Brauw, and subsequently held various management positions at Wolters Kluwer and later at ThiemeMeulenhoff. In 2006, he was appointed Managing Director of Het Concertgebouw N.V. He also holds a number of board positions; for example, he is chairman of the G. Ribbius Peletier Jr. Foundation for the Preservation of the Linschoten Estate, a member of the Supervisory Board of the National Museum of Speelklok tot Pierement, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Rembrandt Association, the Nexus Institute, and the De Hoge Veluwe National Park Foundation.
The Musical Instrument Fund is delighted to welcome Simon Reinink, who has quickly established an impressive track record in the music world since joining the Concertgebouw. His appointment also fits seamlessly with the Music Instrument Fund’s goal of forging more collaborations within the Dutch music world.
