Chamber Music Festival
at Natuurmonumenten
2019
On April 5, 6, and 7, 2019, we are organizing the second edition of the NMF Chamber Music Festival at Natuurmonumenten in collaboration with Natuurmonumenten. Throughout the weekend, you can enjoy chamber music at more than 20 of Natuurmonumenten’s cultural-historical sites across the Netherlands, performed by renowned musicians and passionate young talents supported by the foundation. Music, cultural heritage, and nature come together in this festival. There will be no fewer than 75 concerts in a single weekend!
During the chamber music festival, renowned musicians and passionate young talents play instruments from the Musical Instrument Fund. Chamber music in a castle, wind instruments in the woods, children’s theater on the farm, jazz at the fort… Some of the venues are open to the public only during the festival. Before or after the concerts, there are walks on the estate with the forest ranger or guided tours of the historic building. Stunning music and cultural heritage take center stage together.
