Marcel Schopman
New Director
Musical Instrument Foundation
Effective February 1 of this year, the Board of the Musical Instrument Foundation appointed Mr. Marcel Schopman (1958) as director. He succeeds Ms. Sabine Moors, who held this position for more than three and a half years.
an outstanding advocate
Marcel Schopman previously worked at classical music labels such as Universal, Warner Music, and Arcade, in both commercial and artistic roles. In recent years, he served as director at Challenge Records.
The Musical Instrument Foundation is building a collection of classical and modern master instruments to lend to musically gifted children, promising music students, and performing artists. Thanks to the care with which the Foundation nurtures this unique collection, the next generation of musicians and concertgoers will enjoy the inspiring sounds of master instruments.
The board of the Foundation is convinced that it has found an excellent advocate for this cause in Marcel Schopman.
