Marcel Schopman
is stepping down as
director/executive
Marcel Schopman, director of the Musical Instrument Fund, will be stepping down effective August 1. After successfully applying his talents and experience for 15 years, he feels it is time to pass the baton.
Under his charismatic leadership, and together with a team of dedicated staff members, the Musical Instrument Fund has experienced very positive growth in recent years. As the number of donors grew, the funds became available to both expand the instrument collection and improve its quality. This has enabled an increasing number of professional musicians and talented music students to receive a suitable instrument on loan.
The staff and the Supervisory Board greatly appreciate the way in which Marcel Schopman has led the Musical Instrument Fund with enthusiasm and expertise.
The Supervisory Board has now initiated the process of finding a new director/executive who, together with the staff, can take the fund to the next level.
