Igor Ruhadze
from Hendrik Jacobs

Live from our office—and while maintaining a safe distance—you’ll hear the sounds of top musicians and their unique instruments. The instruments from the Musical Instrument Fund and their players are eager to share their music now that concerts are on hold for the time being. Tune in and enjoy the music, the story behind the instrument, and the musicians.
During the COVID-19 crisis in the spring of 2020, it was virtually impossible for many people to enjoy music outside their homes. That’s why the Musical Instrument Fund launched a series of concerts that were streamed live so that donors and other interested parties could still listen to live music. In this series of videos, you can watch these livestreamed concerts and enjoy a selection of talented musicians all over again.
Igor is the artistic director of the Ensemble Violini Capricciosi and concertmaster of The Bach Orchestra of The Netherlands. He has a violin on loan from Het Muziekinstrumentenfonds, built by Hendrick Jacobs in Amsterdam in 1693. He performs alongside harpsichordist Alexander Puliaev.
