Daydreaming
during
Children's Music Week

The Musical Instrument Fund has been supporting Children’s Music Week for many years. From April 4 through 13, you and your children or grandchildren can enjoy musical activities throughout the Netherlands. This year’s theme is “dreams”: music that transports you to other worlds, from dreamy sounds to lyrics that make dreams come true. Let the music carry you away and dream big!

I'm all of that

Starting today, you can listen to the 2025 Children’s Music Week song! This cheerful reggae song, written by DROOMPILOOT, inspires children to dream about who or what they want to become. The song encourages children to keep letting their imaginations run wild. “Every child can be anything.”

Drums, flute, classical ballet, violin, rock...

Introduce your (grand)children to a colorful musical palette during Children’s Music Week! For ten days, they can enjoy a wide variety of musical activities throughout the Netherlands. From enchanting performances to interactive workshops, there’s something for everyone. Some activities require a ticket, but many are completely free!

Take your young dreamers to see *Swan Lake* or an energetic pop concert, for example. They can also discover their creativity in surprising workshops, such as “Musical Dance,” “Mini-Maestro,” or “Make Your Own Instrument.” Come and experience the power of music together!
