It's a piece of cake
Former director Marcel Schopman used to say—jokingly—that he couldn’t say it often enough: “The Musical Instrument Fund is just like a matchmaking agency!” Indeed, there’s some truth to that. The fund helps musicians find the perfect match between musician and instrument. In this way, the fund supports some 400 musicians in the Netherlands. Would you like to contribute to this cause? If so, we hope you’ll support the Musical Instrument Fund.
Giving Gifts
There are many ways to support us. For example, you can make a one-time, annual, or recurring donation during your lifetime, or leave a bequest. Which option suits you best? If you have any doubts or questions, you’re always welcome to discuss them with one of us—with no obligation. Please email orveenendaal@muziekinstrumentenfonds.nl to schedule an appointment (by phone or in person).
Tax Benefit
I’d like to explain one way you can donate: by entering into a recurring donation agreement. We closely involve recurring donors in our projects and activities. An added benefit is that you also make the most of the tax benefits! You’ll support the Musical Instrument Fund for at least five years. This starts at €150 per year and costs you nothing extra. Whereas in the past a notary was required, nowadays the charity (provided it has ANBI status) may draw up the agreement itself (according to certain rules), and the whole process is a breeze.
Please note: Because the fund has ANBI cultural status, it is exempt from gift and inheritance taxes! This means that 100% of your donation goes to the Musical Instrument Fund.
