You can find me at the office two days a week. I work on the continued development of our extensive database system, which contains information about our musical instruments, musicians, donors, concerts, and finances.

I've been working here since 1998. In 2010, I also became ultimately responsible for the financial administration. Besides working for the Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation, I develop customized databases for other musical institutions. I'm very happy to be able to contribute to Dutch cultural life in this way. Outside of the foundation, my passion lies in sailing and mountain sports.
My favourite instrument
I think this cello, made by the French Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume, is very beautiful. Partly due to the beautiful family crest that gives the back its unique appearance. Furthermore, you can clearly tell that the instrument has been used intensively, and finally due to the rich history of this cello, which was part of a quartet built in 1865. The cello had already seen much of the world before it was given on loan to Anton Spronk in 2015, who in turn performed with the instrument on various international stages.
