I'm a violinist and play with the Carel Kraayenhof Ensemble, Sexteto Canyengue, and Shtetl Band Amsterdam. I also teach at the Amsterdam Music School. I've taken masterclasses with Roelof Koelman, Barnabas Kelemen, and Roby Lakatos.

I regularly perform with the Gelders Orkest and the Ziryab Orchestra, and serve as guest concertmaster with the Holland Symphony Orchestra. I toured in Colombia and Spain with the Ambrosia string quintet. I have previously received a baroque violin and viola on loan from the Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation. I also have extensive experience guiding (young) musicians in their search for an instrument.
My favourite instrument
I thought this viola sounded so beautiful when Alice Sinacori played it. Storioni earns my sympathy because, in the twilight of the golden age in Cremona, he still produced fantastic instruments and broke away from the prevailing conventions of violin making. Not as many historical violas have survived, which makes it all the more remarkable that this beautiful instrument has stood the test of time.
