Laura Vilela Garcia

I was born in Tenerife and I studied there my bachelor. Nowadays, I am studying at the Prins Claus Conservatorium the Master of Classical Violin with Prof. Sie Dhian Ho.

Since I started to play the violin I knew that playing and sharing music with others was going to my purpose in life. After graduating in Spain I came to The Netherlands in order to study with Prof. Ilona Sie Dhian Ho to keep improving my playing.

My dream is to become a professional orchestra musician and therefore, I am always involved in many orchestra projects. I have performed with Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, NASKA, NJO, Nederlandse Bach Academie among others.

I am extremely grateful to be granted with a bow by the Musical Instrument Foundation and I appreciate it every time I open my case to start practicing.
