HI! My name is Judit and I come from Spain. I am settled in The Netherlands and I am currently playing on a Cello from 2004 built by Saskia Schouten and a cello bow by Herbert Wanka from 1980!
I was born in Barcelona in 1994, and started playing the Cello at the age of five. After finishing my elementary musical studies with Adam Glubinksy in Barcelona, I moved to Berlin in 2012 to receive private guidance by Beate Altenburg and Katarzyna Polonek. In 2014 I started my Bachelor studies with Mirel Iancovici at the Maastricht Conservatorium and in 2018 I start my Master of Music with Prof. Gabriel Schwabe. I am currently focused in Chamber Music, more specifically MSM String Quartet, with which I perform in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Spain, and winner of the Grand Prix du Public 2023 of the Maastricht Award of Music. I am also member of the spanish ensembe "Falla Ensemble", concentrated on the performance of contemporary music. I have been member of the NJO in 2019 and of the GMJO in 2020, as well as an active substitute of the "Vigo 430", a professional orchestra based in Galicia, Spain.
