Botan Takada was born 2012 in Den Haag, started the cello at the age of 5 with Caroline Kang. She is currently studying with Matthijs Broersma and is a student of Gymnasium Haganum and Royal Conservatory in The Hague. In 2024 performed solo at Kinderprinsengrachtconcert, received Samenspelprijs of Muziekwedstrijd as Bezuidenhoutse Trio. In 2025 she performed as Jonge Held at NPO Podium Klassiek, Grachtenfestival and is the winner of Royal Concertgebouw Concours 2025.
