
Beatriz Li Rosão
Born in Lisbon, Beatriz started her studies with 5 years old, in the Academy of Music in Lisbon, with professor Filipa Poêjo, and then continued until the end of high school with Vitor Vieira and José Pereira.
She has attended masterclasses with Mihaela Martin, Henning Kraggerud, Stephan Picard, and others.
She is the winner of multiple national competitions, and collaborates regularly with the Gulbenkian Orchestra, and other festivals in Portugal. In 2025 she played in the Gulbenkian Foundation, in the Festival Jovens Músicos (Young Musicians Festival), where she got awarded the opportunity to represent Portugal in the Eurovision Young Musicians in Yerevan, this June of 2026, playing solo with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra.
Besides soloing, Beatriz has a passion for orchestral music, and in 2023 she was concertmaster in Concertgebouw´s Young project, playing in Amsterdam's Concertgebouw and in Berlin´s Konzerthaus, working with maestro Andrés Orozco Estrada and violinist Maria Dueñas. In 2024, she got invited to be concertmaster again in the Verbier festival, for the Verbier Junior Festival Orchestra, working with maestros James Gaffigan, Sir Simon Rattle, and others.
In 2024 Beatriz started her Bachelor in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with professor Vera Beths, and has been a member of the Nationaal Jeugdorkest since then.
Since 2025 Beatriz has played a Gregorio Antoniazzi, labeled Domenicus Montagnana (ca. 1740), and the bow Victor Fetique (ca. 1925, Paris), both a generous loan from the "Het Muziekinstrumentenfonds"
