Hi, my name is Rachel, I see myself as a very diverse cellist playing in different concerts and projects. Besides I love to play in my string trio 'Archata string trio'.
I did my bachelor studies in Rotterdam with Herrejan Stegenga, and my masters in Tilburg with Paul Uyterlinde. Besides I had the opportunity to learn from different teachers, in special Larissa Groeneveld.
I was looking for a good instrument for a long time already, when I was fortunate to play on a Rombouts during my masters, given in lease by an anonymous donor. Besides I found this amazing bow by ter Berg, given in lease by the Netherlands musical instrument foundation. I am so happy and grateful with this organization. Without I wouldn't be the cellist I am today.
