This concert is part of the “Music & Monuments Concerts” series, organized by the Musical Instrument Fund and Natuurmonumenten. On Saturday, October 31, a boat will set sail especially for us to the Marker Wadden. The combination of music, nature, and a boat ride from Bataviahaven to the Wadden will make this afternoon an unforgettable experience.

At the Eilandpaviljoen, you’ll be served coffee or tea with a treat. Before or after the concert, a park ranger will take you on a discovery tour of the Marker Wadden. These young natural islands—created with sand, clay, and silt from the Markermeer—are a paradise for birds and nature lovers alike. From observation huts, you can spot black-tailed godwits, terns, and other rare species up close. A special experience in a special place.
You’ll need a ticket to attend this concert on the Marker Wadden. This ticket includes the boat ride from Bataviahaven in Lelystad, the concert, and the nature excursion. Both the venue and the boat are wheelchair accessible. Order your tickets via the website of Natuurmonumenten. Donors to the Musical Instrument Fund and members of Natuurmonumenten receive a 30% discount. You can request the discount code via email.
